Ona Ludwig

Ona, pronounced Ooh-nah, is a lifelong student of yoga and meditation. Blessed in the Ganges as a child, her path led her to live in an ashram where she dedicated over 30 years to contemplative service and spiritual philosophy.

She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training at LMU with Srivatsa Ramaswami in 2014 in the Vinyasa Krama tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya, which emphasizes breath and mindful movement.

Ona has advanced training in pranayama, meditation instruction, mantra chanting, Indian philosophy, general systems theory, esoteric astrology and Buddhist secular ethics. She is an ambassador for Yoga Gives Back, a charitable organization that helps women and children in India.

She is a mother who lives and works in Crestline, where she contributes to the efforts of Mountain Area Mutual Aid; is a permaculture farmer; and loves hiking with her two dogs.
